StreetCorner Press, Inc. is Scott Stewart's commitment to providing writing and editing services with the integrity of creative excellence.
Copywriting or literary pursuits, business or personal. I look forward to enhancing the writing process for you.
Each project is built upon a platform we can refer to as ICE.
This is achieved through creative invention and wordsmithing.
Creative invention is the art of exploring an idea in an original way or recognizing the merit of an established approach while adding a new twist.
Wordsmithing is the craft of fine-tuning each sentence through the studied placement of the words that will best produce the desired results.
Writing at StreetCorner Press is a passion and each project is an individual work.
The words and thoughts come "...from the writer's pulse". Not recycled templates & cliches.
I take pride in our customer's satisfaction with the delivery and price of their finished project. StreetCorner Press builds working relationships on quality, trust, and respect.
Scott brings more than 25 years of writing and editing experience to your work and ambitions. Throughout the eighties and nineties, he worked in cryptographic operations and network engineering for Information System and Communication government agencies in the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. With these agencies, Scott produced operation guides, user manuals, news articles & columns, commentaries, website content, and teaching materials for courses he taught and curriculums led by other instructors.
About Scott Stewart:
His reputation as the new writer's coach and the writer's re-writer is built on his experience working with: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, songs, ghostwriting, scripting and screenplays, trade & news articles, technical guides, manuals, business collateral, publicity, advertising, web content, and educational resources.
After attending Moorhead State University for Film, Radio, & Television Production (1976-1980), Scott followed up with Biblical History & Literature at Northwestern College (1980-1981). He then served in the USAF (1982-1987).
Thanks to his experiences, he was given an early introduction to internet structure, network applications, and web development, Scott has seen how the "E"-evolution adds fantastic opportunities to the traditional approaches associated with writing, publishing, and video.
